Cryptocurrency is Absolutely BANNED in Pakistan. On April 7th 2018, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced that Bitcoin, including other virtual currencies, tokens or/and coins are Banned in Pakistan. Bitcoin were declared as illegal in Nepal Rastra Bank on August 13th 2017 as well.
Hassan Siddiqui, a Bitcoin trader in Pakistan, says that "Bitcoin is a currency or virtual currency, the first misconception. He further says that Bitcoin has been put under the same category as gold, which is a commodity. Simply, Bitcoin is decentralized currency without State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) or a Federal Reserve.
In spite of its high risk involvement, Cryptocurrency advocates promote using Bitcoins as a safe way to sell and buy goods and services if making no mistake,. The primarily attraction of Cryptocurrency investors is that they usually has total control over transaction, without any central authority.
Although Cryptocurrency is Banned in Pakistan, it is easily available for trading & investment, anyone can buy or sell any amount of Bitcoins in Pakistan. Many people are involved in trading of Bitcoins and operation network from their home.
